Checking a Truck Simulation

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

The process of checking a Truck and Shovel Simulation is very similar to the process of checking Automated and Dump Simulation and covered in the topic Checking a Simulation.

Additional checks should be done by importing the Simulation Report into a spreadsheet and checking these results. In addition truck speeds can be checked by importing the Truck Information file into a spreadsheet. As the truck information includes Easting, Northing and RL for each truck position it is possible to establish the gradient on which the trucks travelling and the speed. Comparing this with the observed truck speeds of various gradients allows truck calibration to be tested.
