Spoil Layer

The Spoil Layer is a special Load used to mask the display of geology in spoil. The steps required to set up the Spoil Layer are as follows:

Make the rendered Terrain Window active, enter the Window Appearance dialog Rendering page and save the Render Colour to the custom palette.

If the relevant area of spoil is not currently marked as rehandle then use the Material Logged Rehandle command to mark the relevant area as rehandle.

From the main menu select Terrain/Layers to open the Layers dialog box use the Spoil Layer button and the terrain render colour (saved the custom palate) to create the spoil layer.
