3d-DigPlus will run on any PC using the Windows XP or later operating systems. As many of 3d-DigPlus's functions are very compute intensive it is recommended to run the program on a computer with a faster processor speed and fast graphics speed. When running large files (typically a file covering a large area of topography or complex geology) 8 MB of memory are recommended.
3d-DigPlus utilises the Aladdin Hasp dongle base security system. The Hasp keys (dongles) are a USB device which require a driver to function. Often these drivers will be present on a PC however 3d-DigPlus offers the option during installation to install the latest Hasp driver.
As 3d-DigPlus is subject to frequent upgrades the software is typically delivered and upgraded by Internet-based download. When you purchase 3d-DigPlus you will receive a username and password. The 3d-DigPlus install file can be downloaded from the Earth Technology website:

Go to the above address, navigate to the downloads page and select the appropriate version to download.
3d-DigPlus has many different modules for different types of mining simulation. When a version of 3d-DigPlus is purchased this purchase will include some or all of the available modules. There is a single install file for 3d-DigPlus which includes all available modules, the modules are available for any particular installation are controlled by the Hasp key. If additional modules are purchased these can be enabled in the Hasp key remotely.
Once the 3d-DigPlus install executable is downloaded it is recommended this is copied and stored in a central location. To install 3d-DigPlus firstly plug-in the USB Hasp key then double-click on the 3d-DigPlus install executable and follow the online instructions.
3d-DigPlus files are not generally backwardly compatible with older versions of 3d-DigPlus.
